SITUATION
A Canadian Captain & English Football Legend
English professional footballer David Edgar is a Canadian legend. His first pitch experience was lacing up for Newcastle within the toughest premier league to defend the likes of Cristiano Renaldo and Wayne Rooney. With the city in a rally for the Canada Games, and an injury sidelining David at home, the star and the community were together again for some grassroots moments.

In an iconic career, David's football journey began with Newcastle in the English Premier League and ended at home in Canada with the Vancouver Whitecaps. The Canadian men's national team captain, he capped his career with 67 national cap appearances for the Canadian national team.
