This new palette was developed through research done by the Pantone Colour Institute. The main focus of the research team was to determine what is trending and develop a color palette around it. Pantone's research team approached 200 designers who work in various industries to participate in a survey questionnaire.

They discovered that the use of digital tools is growing rapidly and as a result, affecting the way we communicate.

What's in is a bit of the old but with a facelift and some cool new shades as well. White is still very important in transmitting functional and clean design. Neutrals, blushes, and nuanced blues are gaining popularity across industries. Earthy and organic colors are making a stand in deeper shades of red, brown and orange. Don't forget to add these new colors to your arsenal!
